This is the official app for Vancouver’s Best Car Share! Evo is car sharing made for you. It gets you from here to there with room for your friends - gas, insurance, parking and unlimited kms included. Plus, we’ve added e-bikes! The Evo app is your key to everything. Just reserve, unlock and hit the road. Yep, its that easy.

The app lets you:
• Sign up for car and e-bike sharing (you will need your driver’s license and a credit card to join)
• Find a vehicle 24/7 by checking out the real-time map
• Make or cancel reservations (you can reserve a car up to 30 min in advance or 5 min in advance for e-bikes, all for free) or use Evo Return to make round-trip bookings up to 30 days in advance
• Start, pause, and end trips with the click of a button, or use our handy QR code to start your e-bike trip
• See how much time is left before your reservation expires with the countdown timer
• View all available vehicles on the map or view them in a list
• View vehicle info including location, fuel/charge level, license plate, and distance from you
• Check out parking locations and the Home Zone
• See billing and manage all things to do with your Evo account
• Give us a shout 24/7 for help. Day or night we are here for you!

Need More effective Map and damage assessment

I can get around without any issues. Just a few small things that could make the app a great one:

Integrate with apple or google maps instead of its own map to gauge walking distance and directions better.

Too many damage pictures to sort through, so I end up taking pictures of every non-stickered scratch or dent.

Hi there, thanks for the positive feedback! We actually do offer both Google and Apple maps integration in the app. When you book a car, select the mini grey arrow at the top of the booking pop up and select "get directions". You'll be able to choose which maps app you'd like. Hope this helps!

Racist company

I had terrible experience with Evo. I have over 10 years of experience in driving, and my I submitted my documents. They first said you don’t have two years of experience in driving because of my US driving license. After I submitted my driving license from my home country from ten years ago, they said while it shows you have experience, it does not show you did not get tickets over the past two years in your home country! This is while I have not been back home over the past six years. I told them this fact but they never responded. I sent several emails afterwards to different EVO emails but no one responded. Clearly it is because they realize I am from a “brown” country. This is such a racist company which should be embarrassed of its existence! I would never recommend using it to anyone.

Easiest way to get around when you can’t use bus or subway in Vancouver

This is not only a great app, but it’s a really great company and service offered by the province of British Columbia in the city of Vancouver. Their customer service is top-notch and the service is incredibly easy to use. I wish more cities in the United States and overseas had a service like this.
