The game has had many glitches, severe lag time, as well as so many other problems. It seems like customer support is pretty much an automated system and doesn’t function at all sometimes. When you log in to place activate a truce and you are being attacked, there are so many pop-ups for items to purchase by the time you can close them all and place a truce on your city you have already lost your troops, resources and many times high quality sub cities you spent a tremendous amount of money to win. It seems the developers are only concerned with making money and not maintaining the game. The have forced privacy and terms of service you have to agree to or they won’t allow you to enter the game. Many people have spent thousands of dollars and are being forced to agree to their terms or lose their account. They claim it’s a free game to play but in reality it seems you have to spend a lot of money. Many of their events you can’t participate in at all if you don’t spend money. I have played Evony as far back as the computer version on New Age as well as The Kings Return since the beta server was opened. The game quality and customer service continues to decline and I’m beginning to wish I had never started playing.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced for a game. I should have read the reviews first before I spent my time and money on this game. Fun at first but something weird happened with my account. I spent some money in game to heal some troops to get my power level back up. When I logged in the next day my power dropped substantially with no reports of an attack on my keep. I thought it was weird but figured maybe I missed something? Maybe I didn’t bring my power back up to where I thought I did. So I spent some more money for resources to heal my troops again, this time bringing my power to over 1 billion. If you’ve played the game, you know that’s quite a bit. When I logged back in the next day (I only logged in to heal my troops and then I logged off for the day) my power level was back down under 1 billion. That’s when I realized something fishy was going on and I just spent a lot of money for those resources all for nothing. I contacted support and sent a screenshot of my power level and asked if they could somehow look back at my account activity and see what was going on…I haven’t heard from them since. They make plenty of money with this game so you would think their support team would be on top of something like this right? Wrong. They make plenty of money from this game so why help some random player who’s complaining about a glitch. Don’t waste your time or money and I hope you read these reviews before you download.

This game is truly nothing but an endless money pit. The developers are driven by greed, that offer a long glitchy game experience riddled with many goals that aren’t achievable unless you sink thousands of dollars into it. This game is the biggest scam going for gamers. The customer service is a complete joke. They are not friendly either. Bored people with endless amount of money feed these developers. All new content is monotonous. It’s the same old content with a new name to make money for these developers. It’s honestly nothing new and they make anything new hard to get unless you are willing to spend a ridiculous amount of money to get it. My advice to anyone curious about this game is that I would not waste your time or money on this game. This is a buyer beware game. You will not get anywhere on this game unless you are truly willing to invest serious money in it, which you will never get close to getting back even if you sell your account. If you got nothing better to do with your money except waste it without any sort of a return well then this is the game for you. The only absolutely only thing great about this game is the people you meet and become friends with. It’s an expensive glorified chat room. Plus you have to deal with the egos and arrogant players that do coin in the game who shame the way smaller keeps that are new to the game. It’s not a very fun game experience. Pass on this game. It will save you much frustration and shame.
