Ratings and Reviews
The action extension alone is worth the price. (Action extensions are the grey-scale icons you see after you tap the box-with-an-arrow-shooting-out-the-top/share/action icon while in Photos, Messages, or other apps.) I like the app for swiping through a group of photos and studying EXIF metadata, but what I really wanted was a way to see metadata that Photos doesn’t display, without leaving Photos. The extension does that. With the action extension, two taps (one on the share/action icon and one to choose View Exif) from within Photos and I can see exposure, file name, and so on, or two taps from within Mail or Messages and I can see on a map where that beautiful picture just sent to me was taken, assuming EXIF data is in the photo. And if I want to share a photo, another tap on the share/action icon, a tap to choose “Share with EXIF” or “Share without EXIF”, and the usual sharing options appear. Really sweet work flow. A tip if you’ve read this far - move the View Exif icon to be your second or third icon and manage and reorder the EXIF data tags to put the ones you use at the top.
Developer Response ,

Security alert for those who post pictures
There is an old saying, it pays to advertise. Well everyone loves to take pictures of something new they got and may be worth money. You then post the picture online to share and it is wonderful, especially for crooks. Why? Because the gps tag on the picture show the location of where it is, to anyone and everyone. Would you go into a bad neighborhood and tell people there you have this valuable item that is easy to steal and resell and here is my address??? So I would recommend to use this to remove tags on valuable stuff before posting just to be safe.

Slow and Layout is not up to par
I should’ve got the lite version before I paid for this app, I will most likely be filing for a refund if I don’t get a developer response, there were multiple things I noticed
1. First installed app and booted into it and the introduction was super slow, I swiped left each page and it would hang and then move to next page, but thats only first use I believe so I don’t think I will encounter it again
2. The layout is all over the place, this developer/company needs a designer because this app has huge potential
2a. In the albums tab the “Albums/Smart/Shared” button hides behind the pictures (only bottom of button)
2b. It should feel like stock iOS Photos App all the new content should be at bottom not top
- If you click on sort and then Oldest Date first then all the photos old photos start at top and going down goes to newer ones
2c. The “help” tab does not need its own tab and could be put in the setting page, that is wasted space
2d. If you click on the “all photos” tab each photo has there own grayed out border
2e. When viewing individual photos it would help if I knew what the actual date I got the photo on my device was instead of ex. 2 months ago, if you scroll a little more down you see the actual date taken of the photo but not when you got it stored on your device
again does not feel like stock iOS and developer needs a designer to focus on all these aspects
Developer Response ,
Thank you for honest review. The app is build by two of people, Husband (Programmer) and wife (Designer).
We admit all your points are valid. We already have hundreds of design issues and fluidity in animation enhancements in our to-do list. These issues are raised by Designer, Then there was ton of feature requests user wanted to have, like "EDIT EXIF" etc.. But Programmer never got enough bandwidth to fix them yet. So its fully fault of Programmer.
We know, these are issues on our end, Doesn’t justify the issues you mentioned.
Anyway, We are trying to tackle them one by one as much as we can. If you take look at version 1.0 app and now, You might get idea how much effort we have put into this app. [Note this is our Side project along with our Full time Job].
1,2.a, 2.b, 2d - We will do our best in fixing most of these in future updates.
Regard "Help" Tab, We know it doesn't need dedicated Tab, But we do have major feature planned, which would replace "help" Tab. It might take several months, But until then, We won't be replacing help tab.
2e - If you tap on “2 months ago” it would show time stamp. Or you can show “time stamp” by default by going to Settings Tab > EXIF Details settings > Change Date formats > Default Date style to “Time Stamp”
Date taken vs date stored on device - We will try to fix it in future updates.
We really don’t know how long would it take to fix all these UI enhancements and features to make it feel like Stock App.
It might be best to get the refund app now, leave a mail using Help> Contact developer, Once all these issues are fixed, we can let you know. Then you might be able to try out Lite version before purchasing Full version.
Sorry again for all inconvenience caused due to us and our app.
Also, Curious to know, Which Hardware model and iOS Version are you using?
