Horrible, dead-end program - horrible, nonexistant support
BEST ADVICE EVER FOR A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER: You need to be able to trust an accounting program for the DOLLARS and CENTS of your business! This information is vital. Once entered into an accounting program - you won’t be able to ‘port’ that info anywhere. It’s stuck. So, if the program stinks (like this one does) you are STUCK.
As a small business owner (for 20 years) I’ve used some very well planned, intelligent, comprehensive programs - EXPRESS INVOICE and EXPRESS INVOICE PLUS are NOT. I previously had MAC P & L. The company went defunct and I was faced with either using an old computer for invoicing, or finding a new software.
Regretably, I chose this wretched, orphan, amateurish program. They are everything you don’t want in accoutning software: poorly planned, horribly executed drivel.
Go with a tried and true program. Not a fly-by-night.
One of the previous reviewers needs to be corrected. Creating an invoice is quick and easy, and I was successful in emailing that invoice without any problem. Making sure your email settings are correct within this program is key. It took me a couple of tries, adjusting the settings, but I finally got the right setting; it works great. Now, if this program would only keep track of my time spent on each project, I'd give it a 5.
