EZProxy for Safari 4+

Easy off-campus access to scholarly materials through your institution's proxy.

This Safari Extension enables scholars to use their University/College Library EZProxy or OpenAthens service to access academic articles and books through a library subscription.

Important note: your institution must offer either EZProxy or OpenAthens services for this app to be useful.

To make use of the app you will need access to a university library EZProxy. Such guides are often available through your Library's technology use guides. Most students and staff will be able to access subscription journals, and in some instances, eBooks, legally off-campus by using this 'one click' tool.

Simply set up your URL, check the preferences for closing or keeping the tab, enable the extension in Safari, then click the icon in the Safari toolbar to access articles via your university library. With OpenAthens you only need to know your institution's domain name, and you're ready to go.
