Just an address book
Not too impressed with the app. I can search names, if pictures are added on a desktop/web then I can see pictures. Unless I'm doing things wrong, I am unable to edit and add pictures on the app. My experience with it is just another address book (that I cannot edit.)
Needs Much work
Fellowship One is much like Microsoft, in that it provides a great product, but it offers it in a difficult and bulky package.
As a pastor, I love having this app so I can look up phone numbers and addresses while I am out and about (I used to have to keep our directory with me at all times, but it was always outdated, This app keeps up to date information, and its quick, easy and secure.
What frustrates me is that there is no way to copy the information in the app, so if someone asks me for a phone number, I am not able to look it up, then copy the number and text it to the the person asking for it (I wouldn’t think this would be a big deal but it happens quite often). I have the ability to add the persons contact information into my address book, then go through the process, but this adds a step that isn’t necessary.
Map feature- When looking up the address of a church member, the app shows a map of the address, but it won’t communicate to a mapping app to get driving directions, which is frustrating, add that on top the “no copy” issue mentioned above, and it can be really frustrating. So when I am making a home visit to a place I have never been before, I have to look up the address in F1, then write it down on a piece of paper, and then open google maps and enter the address for driving directions. This issue is what is the most frustrating for me, as I am fairly new to the town I pastor, so I don’t know my way around town yet. This seems like a natural issue to resolve and if it were fixed, I would give the app 3 or 4 stars (not 5).
Needs photo option
Can you make it possible to add a photo from phone storage? Right now it’s only possible to take a photo live and add to F1 immediately.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
