Ratings and Reviews
Nice design and simple to use but this app has a few issues. I only get stats for the current week. Monthly and yearly stats are have been at zero since day one of using this app. Good thing I still get the emails so I can check how close I am to my monthly goals. The streak badges can be improved as well. Instead of clearing it out if you miss a day, keep the badges and use a progress bar to track current progress separately from overall badge wins. It doesn’t feel good to lose a badge once you earn it. It would also be nice to see studio leaderboards in the app instead of only in the studio.
Long Ways To Go
Glad there's finally an app versus a barely functional website, but let's run through the issues at hand:
1 | Too Many Apps - I don't want 3 apps for F45 on my phone. Centralize the information.
2 | Mismatched Requirements - Website gives me one line to put in a name, where as the app requires me to have a last name?
3 | Emoji Support - You removed it, and that's not cool. With the board, it just looks like a wall of text, so having an easy way of picking yourself out in the workout just got more challenging when the a lot of people.
4 | Doesn't Show Device Info - Where's the battery charge level? My active heart rate when I'm wearing it but it's not during the exercise?
5 | Bugs Bugs Bugs - Stats show zero calories and points despite having hundreds of workouts. Has a clunky feel like they hired cheap developers from who knows where.
6 | Stats Are Limited - There are so many more interesting stats that could be used. Average calories burned in a workout? Average in (West) Hollywood. Averages per minute. Averages per workout type (Brixton, 3-Peat, etc). Max per workout. Average attendance per week. Chart of attendance by week, month, year. The list goes on...
7 | Badges - Really looking forward to more badges!
It's a start, but it has a ways to go.
And please, sure emojis in names. It's the little things that make all the difference.
Impossible to login, reports aren’t being emailed, no way to contact support.
This app is AWFUL. Or I should clarify that my attempts to access my account on this app have been absolutely awful — I haven’t actually been able to log in and use the functionality.
My studio set my account up for me when I bought my band. Since then I have not received any workout reports via email, and have not been able to log in either via this app or the F45 Lionheart website. I’ve tried resetting my password, and now just get a spinning wheel when I attempt to log in on the web and an error message saying my credentials aren’t correct on the app (after resetting my password and confirming that they are right).
I’m annoyed that I spent $60 on this heart rate monitor and can’t access any of the reports. There is also no way to contact support or request assistance.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
