The best app on my phone

I love this app for many reasons most definitely keeps me laughing and having fun throughout this stay home quarantine thing

Save your money please

Wow this is really bad. Just as others have said, your face comes out half and shadow no matter how much light was there taking the shot. You can barely even see that it is your face and not the original actor. It would’ve been much better to just put your face on there without trying to make it fancy blending in with the hair and all that stuff. People want to have fun and laugh. It’s not supposed to be as realistic as possible. And by trying to achieve that realism, it ends up not looking funny and you can’t even make out that it’s your face.

The developer responded to One of the reviews saying that they need great lighting. I’m sure people didn’t download this app so they have to use real movie lights. People downloaded this to have fun with their friends and to have a laugh. But if you can’t really make out a persons face, it doesn’t have a purpose.

Strange, many users with our advice have thanked us, because they recognize and laugh together with their friends commenting and sharing their movies. If you go on Instagram #facestar #faceoscar you can see the clips of users from all over the world.

Dont waste your money

I can’t believe that I paid for this app.. the demo on this is deff NOT what you get . Uploading a picture or using their cut out preset filter to get your face leave a very very unrealistic blend . You can clearly see the borders around the face. And overall just looks very bad .. I wish I could get back my money but it is what it is . I actually deleted the app since it already took my money , I won’t have it take up space in my phone . I should have read the reviews first . Now I know moving forward to come here first . Horrible app.. with even long hold times to download video . Again ... do NOT waste your money on this.

We're sorry that you did not appreciate the potential of FaceStar, the demo is just what you get, are normal pictures ... if you go on #facestar instangram, you can see users from all over the world who have posted their videos. You should have used front photographs, with good lighting and definition, with no sharp shadows on your face. The result is unrealistic, on the contrary. See also the stars in the global rating, not just the reviews.
