Fair Weather Society is a poetic weather app that pairs live, location-based forecasts with atmospheric works of art—starting with the evocative paintings of Gustave Caillebotte, Vincent Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, Claude Monet and many more. Created by HoneyWired, the app blends mood, moment, and meteorology into a daily visual experience.
How it works
Grant location access and the app fetches your local weather. That forecast determines which artwork is displayed—each painting is chosen to reflect the current conditions, creating a seamless fusion of weather and art that feels personal and ever-changing.
Key Features
• Weather-powered art: The painting you see responds to real-time weather at your location—sunny, rainy, misty, windy, and more.
• Fine art curation: Begins with public domain works by Vincent Van Gogh, Gustave Caillebotte, Claude Monet, and more… selected for their atmosphere and emotional resonance.
• Sunshine? Storms? There’s a symphony for that. Rain or shine, the maestros play on. Brahms, Debussy, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky & Smetana now score your weather. Go to settings to turn on background music.
• Ad-supported with opt-out: Enjoy the free experience with unobtrusive advertising. Subscribe in-app to instantly remove ads.
• Subscription management: Change or cancel your ad-free subscription directly via your Apple ID settings.
• Privacy-first design: We don’t collect your personal usage analytics. Only Apple provides aggregated, non-identifiable performance data; ads are served via third-party partners (e.g., Google Ads) with standard opt-out controls.
