FakeMe: deepfake videos 12+

Great app! Easy to use and lots of different faces to choose. Custom video and length is decent, though the compression used can cut off the top and bottom ends of the video. Resolution itself loses quality when you apply face swap, but you can make do with what they have to offer. Question for developers— any way to upload custom videos without drop of resolution? Other than that, happy with the app.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We have discovered the root of the cropping issue. The problem comes down that different features require different aspect ratio to work with. This compression of the video currently runs on the user device (i.e. when the user adds a video to the list). So, we will need to adjust the UI so that the compression differs depending on which feature is picked. This would have the benefit of using any kind of aspect ratio for face swapping, but on the other side would have the drawback of having to run the video compression at each run. We think that the benefits would outweigh the drawback, but will take some time to implement.

Regarding the general quality, we will look into it as well.

This is without a doubt one of the best swapping apps. 2 things that would make it perfect: (1) process video at 30 FPS, currently limited at 20 FPS; and (2) process image and video swaps at target resolution. Currently can only produce squared 1:1 output. At least if it had these options, that way you could request even with understanding of a longer processing time. But again, GREAT

Thank you so much for your feedback :) It is for us a motivator to continue to improve the experience. Yes you are correct about the FPS and Resolution limitations in place. We are looking forward to grow our server infrastructure enabling what you have in mind. But for that to happen we need a bit more growth (in terms of subscriptions / users) (to enable it as a standard setting). We are also looking on certain code optimizations as well (but no promises at the moment). Generally we try to keep the app as simple as possible - therefore not a huge fan of providing certain options (flags) to the app due to the user experience flow at this time.

I hope this helps a bit to understand the thought process.

Edit: The app does allow non 1:1 ratio content as well if you choose the correct import button in custom videos.

It’s great app but two-problem it’s that I tried making people sing dame da ne but I can’t animate the person and I can only face swap and not make the sing the song and the other problem is the same thing but slightly different and I tried make people face swap on featured but wouldn’t work but it’s a good app I would rate five stars if you fix this

You are correct - there is a bug with the "More" tab which we will address in the next update.
For the 2nd issue, are you talking about the "Animated Image" Featured or the "Face Swap" Featured?
