ABOUT FAMILY CAR GAMES:
FCG is an app containing 100 how-to-play instructions for creative, fun, & challenging games that need NO equipment…NOT EVEN YOUR IPHONE! Once you and your family learn these play-anywhere games, car trips will be fun and you won’t mind waiting in restaurants, doctors' waiting rooms, at dinner, or when out camping or hiking. You don't need “stuff” to have fun, just 2 or more people!
What this app does is give simple instructions for the games you can sort by age, type of game, etc and then you put away the iPhone (no more fights over it or getting carsick staring at it) and play! Even the driver can play most of these games while driving! Our family found or created and has played these games for 10 years, teaching them to friends and family & there are games for kids 5 and under too. We’ve got lots of originals you won’t learn anywhere else. What kind of games? Storytelling, radio, guessing, singing, word, and more. Our faves: Grandma is So Weird, Inky Pinky, Love is Like a Shovel (& Catch That Tune radio game…our best score was 60, scanning twice around…can you beat us?), and Categories.

This was not what I was expecting at all... this is not a game, but more of a search engine... I am disappointed to have spent $1.99 on this game. Had I known, I would have just googled "games to play in the car" and produced the same results at no charge.
Helps us have fun w/o the phone
We like these games because many of them include the driver WITHOUT distracting them (like the car radio games). I think some people bought it expecting it to be an iPhone game, but the whole point is to teach games families can play together. For free. Even when the power goes out LOL, which we've done. No fighting over the phone or carsickness either. Esp. good for families with bright, creative kids.
Not what I expected
You could easily Google games to play in car without spending the $2 on this app. You do NOT actually get any games but just a list of games you can play in the car. Hopefully will be refunded.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
