Not for those that want free reads

Every time you want to open a new chapter in a book you either have to wait 8 hours or watch an increasing number of ads. Or pay for it. I’m up to 10 ads I have to watch, most of which are actually 2 ads, in order to unlock the next chapter. So NOT worth.

I’ve been in this app daily for the last 10 days and it just reset my daily streak to one day. So again my “ bonus coins” to unlock chapters is less than what I need to unlock a single chapter.

Don’t get me wrong - the books are typically OK. Some grammar and consistency issues but that’s to be expected in these types of books. And they can and usually do grab your attention. It’s the fact that I have to wait 8 hours for a three page chapter that is ridiculous. If I could find the book elsewhere - even if I had to pay for it - I would go there instead.

Pay or wait

I don’t mind paying for an app or buying a book to read. But paying just to unlock a chapter is a bit much. The book can cost more than $50 to read. I would say probably more. You either pay, wait for 8 hours for only one chapter to be unlocked, or watch ads. The catch is that for each chapter to unlock by viewing ads, the ads increase for each time you want to unlock the chapter. I am at 3, and I am sure that it will increase by one each time I choose to view the ads to unlock the chapters. Also, when you use the ads to unlock the chapter the clock to unlock the next chapter resets back to 8 hours. Just not worth the cost or the time. (Shaking my head)

Listen to the stories

So far everything seems okay but my only complaint is why to I have to pay to listen to the story if I already have it unlocked? The only reason why I haven’t delete it is because I can’t find the story elsewhere!
