"Best New App for Airfare Searches" -- Conde Nast Traveler. Fareness is a flight booking app that shows airfares on a calendar. Spot the cheapest trip dates, which are often hundreds of dollars less than random dates. 50-75% savings is typical.
Fareness is much more than an app: we're a full service travel company. Once you book your flights at Fareness, our team of travel experts is here to provide personalized, prompt service. Our goal is nothing short of "wow!", and we’ll do everything we can to provide you with a refreshing booking and travel experience.
Fareness was featured in Travel & Leisure, NY Times, ABC News, Time, USA Today, and Fast Company.

We set out to create a travel company that inspires you to visit interesting places, quickly finds the best deals on flights (that we would want to take!), and makes booking simple and hassle free.
Fareness has destination discovery too. You can say, "I want to go to the beach next month, but I don't care which beach, show me the cheapest beach and the cheapest dates of travel to all the Hawaiian islands and Caribbean + Florida and Mexico," to book flights with the lowest priced dates and destination.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
My flight was canceled without my approval and somehow it was my fault. I had made two flights on the same day as I booked my first on the wrong date I emailed customer service and had to wait forever to get a response back. I then finally found a number and talked with a representative she then canceled my flight during the call I thought all was sorted. I book a completely separate flight later in the afternoon, check my emails before going to bed and found out my flight I had just booked had been canceled. I was very confused as to why because i never wanted it canceled. I emailed them back and they said it had overran because I had made a cancellation earlier though I figured they should have that sorted??? I then Talked on the phone with a very rude representative who started yelling at me because I was asking how my flight was canceled without my approval. She started arguing with me and telling me I was the problem that they never canceled without customer approval I told her then how was my flight canceled without my approval? She started being very rude with me. I now have no flight thanks to fareness and my money has not been refunded. DO NOT BOOK HERE UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO BE IN A BUNDLE OF MESS. TERRIBLE I would probably give them a negative 10 stars if possible.

We’re sorry to hear that. Our customer service team honored your cancellation request, and unfortunately we can’t recreate a booking after you’ve asked to cancel it. We hope you’ll try Fareness again in the future!
Help, When I Most Needed It
Earlier this year I booked a great flight deal using Fareness for my honeymoon. The departure time and date were great, and the price was phenomenal.
I was so looking forward to the trip: 3 weeks in Brazil with my new husband. Unfortunately, life had other plans. Several weeks before my scheduled departure, I shattered my left tibia just below the knee. This rendered me completely incapable of walking and required several rounds of surgery to fix. In short, there was absolutely no way my Brazil trip was happening.
After contacting the airline directly and explaining the circumstances of my cancelation, the airline requested I go through Fareness since they were the booking agency. I’m glad I did.
After several rounds of explanations and some furnishing of proof of my injury, Fareness achieved something rare in today’s world of airline customer service: they got me a full refund for not only my ticket, but my husband’s as well! Had I taken the standard approach and merely paid the cancellation fees, I would have lost over $900 US dollars.
Instead, I will receive a refund of nearly $1400 US dollars. Many thanks to the Fareness customer support team for their persistence in helping resolve my issue. I will definitely continue to use the service and encourage my friends and family to do the same. Five Stars all around!

Thank you, we're glad we could help!
I used to LOVE this app...but $60/year now??
I have used this app for about 2 years, and have loved it. But I rarely book through the site...it was mainly used to check the best times to fly. There are other apps that do this too, but I preferred the interface on Fareness, so used that the most often.
Now there is a yearly charge of $60. And while I get why they might want to start charging, I feel like $60 per year is MUCH higher than warranted by the value in this app. If the charge was $30 per, I might pause, but I would likely just pull the trigger. $60 per year basically gives me the wherewithal to drop Fareness, and just deal with the other (similar) apps, with the less attractive/intuitive interface.

Hi there. We very much appreciate your support. Our booking model wasn't sustainable before, since people would use the app (and we'd incur data fees from airlines to power all of those searches) to browse and find the cheapest dates, but book elsewhere. We've tried to price a subscription affordably at $5/mo, considering the hundreds of dollars per trip that the app can easily save you, but we understand that every dollar matters. Hope to continue helping you find the best deals on flights!
