Description

FARK Reader version 7.0.0 has been redesigned to take advantage of the latest features of iOS 16 and 17. It now better adapts across various screen sizes for iPhone, iPad, Mac and widget.

What is Fark? "The first thing you should know is that Fark.com isn't a Weblog. Fark.com, the web site, is a news aggregator and an edited social networking news site. Every day Fark receives 2,000 or so news submissions from its readership, from which we hand-pick the funny and weird notable news -- and not-news -- of the day." (www.fark.com)

What can I do with the app?
Quickly scan the latest Fark headlines from many categories (Main, Sports, Business, STEM, Entertainment, Politics, Fandom, Fark Party, Podcast, D'awww, Food). Select the funniest, stupidest, or most interesting. Read what other Farkers are saying and add your own thoughts. Share headlines/links with friends via email, text message, or social media.

"..it's pretty clear that it's funny. Really funny. So, to both Farkers of the world and to those who have never heard of it…if you like the site, there’s an app for that, too."

Finally back to “easy to use and enjoy “.

Seems like it’s been months (it has) since the app,was improved and became unusable. But a few updates, and way too much time, later and I can once again enjoy Fark. Latest update restored the ability to read entire headlines, choose topics, and make fun of real-world news. Back to five-stars. Please, please, please don’t “improve “ it again!

I'm not able to reproduce what you are seeing and no other users have reported this - can you send a screenshot to support@kineso.com?

No need to change

I’m really tired of app designers who make unnecessary changes just to show off. These newest “upgrades” are an example.

Developer Response ,

If you have a specific issue and would like to clarify how we are showing off, feel free to contact support@kineso.com

Poor article viewing

Lots of times I click on a link to read an article and it starts loading, and I can read for five seconds or so but then the page just goes blank ( probably because the articles have tons of Java script and ad tracker type stuff on them ) …

I could do without the full screen find the X to close type ads too. Banner ads are enough and are not annoying, but full screen ads are obnoxious and a sign of greed by the developers.
