With a past shrouded in mystery, that wakes up in the middle of a field and is attacked by a horde of mutated Potatoes. With no one else in sight, he takes it upon himself to try and keep the evil infestation in check.

Even since release there are over 5 worlds with 9 Areas of 100 Waves, each with 2 difficulty settings, so YES, “it’s over 9000” waves with more to come in the near future.
In the early stages of the game you will have two main currencies, Potatoes and Skulls, that you can use on over 30 upgrades that increase your stats or debuff the Potatoes, but don’t worry, this is just the start of the adventure.

There is a set of Equipment in every Area so there are over 250 visually different items but due to the Item Rating, Enhancing Levels and Bonus chances, there are over 2M possibilities for unique Equipment in the game.
But worry not. We know storage management is not something a lot of people like in general but the whole system is custom made and with auto’s available to help you keep everything neat and tidy.

Skills that he has acquired over a very long career. Skills that make him a nightmare for Potatoes. And each and every one of his many Talents, are made for the sole purpose of ridding the world of all Potatoes. Even the non-combatant ones if possible, as they make one hell of a meal.

The Talent tree is huge, with choices that can change your play-style significantly. And the best part is that they are not permanent, so you can experiment to your heart’s desire. And everything’s visible from the start: no fog of war type of tree, no hidden talents … or are there?

There are many other features that you can play with, including a mini-game that you can play on a regular basis to get various timed buffs for your Farmer. The idea is simple: whack all the potatoes that pop their ugly heads out of the johns. Why, you ask? Because being a Farmer is a full-time job and enemies are everywhere!

The Reincarnation system which Farmer Against Potatoes Idle also has. But every time you Reincarnate for bigger permanent bonuses, you can also change between 6 different Classes, each with their own strong points and Talent Trees. This creates a second layer of strategy decision making to make the game more enjoyable for various play-styles.

Fun idler

It’s a good progressive idler with a ton of content and a rewarding prestige system. The game introduces new content at a good pace and isn’t overwhelming at all. There is an in game shop with boosts to various parts of the game but you can earn the premium currency by completing daily’s (which you eventually can get a QoL perk that auto completes these for you so you just gain them passively) so you’ll be able to get everything just by playing the game. Best of all no ads!

The introduction of multiplayer events looks interesting but for some reason the game says I’ve been caught cheating though I’ve never done anything but just play the game on mobile. Not sure how it registers how a player cheats but I’m now locked from the new multiplayer content until it gets fixed. It’s new content and the first time they’ve implemented a multiplayer so I’m sure there are bugs to sort out and I’m happy they’re making sure multiplayer isn’t ruined by a few people with an unfair advantage.

One of the best idlers out there

Changing my review to this:
After playing hundreds of hours of this game and it’s seamless cross-play support with the steam version, I have to say this is one of the most in-depth rewarding idle games out there to date. There’s a few types of prestige style gameplay elements, one for farming mini game, one for your class, and one for the overall gameplay. Every prestige rewards you progressively and are worth it, unlike some games that just reset the gameplay with 1% increase, this game gives you automation and customizable options when you prestige. There’s a TON of pets for that gacha mechanic, the dev supports discord, steam discussion, and other social media and somehow has time to still develop for the game. In a few days multiplayer is coming out. This game is definitely worth the free download. Even the in game premium currency is easy to get!

I love this game

I’ve been playing this game for almost a year (221 days according to my stats) and I love it. There are quality of life purchases in the game that require premium currency but you can earn that currency by completing dailies. So if you are patient, you don’t have to pay for anything. I personally have spent about $20 on this game but that was more to support the dev. The game will start out less idle and become more idle as you progress through accessions. The developers constantly releases new updates and is very active in their discord, they have even taken some player suggestions and added them to the game. If you’re a fan of incremental games, you’ll probably enjoy this one.
