It's a decent GENERAL guide.
Restaurant selection is good, however the food selections aren't so hot. Take Chick-Fil-A for instance...you can't select specific changes such as a wheat bun instead of a reg bun (which I always have). Arby's beverage section only has small; no option for med or large. You aren't able to account for ANY sort of deviations from the "standard" menu at all, which does of course make a difference in the calorie count.
As a GENERAL guide this is ok; if you're looking for specifics, then you'll need to "build" your items in individual fast food chain's websites (there's no way to carry that over to this app tho).
Whatever did you do to this???
This app worked great when I downloaded it some time ago. I haven't used it for awhile and now that I'm counting calories again, I thought I would use it to check out the menu items before we went out for dinner tonight. It would get me to the food categories, but as soon as I tapped one of them, it would either cause the app to crash completely OR as another reviewer recently posted, it would open up the App Store and go to some random app for me to download. I tried several times and when it would open the store, it looked like it was a different app every time. I think I'm going to pay $2.99 for one that works. This one is being deleted after I write this review as it is now worthless to me.
Decent health guide
It makes me eat healthier. I dont have the knowledge or time to fogure out what is better then what. I like the scan feature. It's convenient at the grocery store or on the go. It helps me decide what to stock up on and what to pass up on. I enjoy the alternatives suggestions for things I really want but am flexible on. And the compare feature. It however does not have an endless database, it does include a lot but still needs additions so take the time to add your favorite items when they are not in the database yet and hopefully they will be added soon.
