Very concerning bug

There’s a very strange bug that a recurring lender warned me about. When he went into the app he found out that it somehow logged him into my account, which should be impossible if you don’t have the login details. I hope the team gets to the bottom of this.

Does anyone use this app?

I think this is a wonderful idea. But with over a year of bugginess, there’s still plenty of UI elements that are unusual for normal users to understand, swaying people away from using it. I was able to navigate through the app myself just fine, but I can understand where most users might be confused and will think that the app simply doesn’t work. This factor alone must be addressed otherwise it’ll continue to fizzle out its user base to the point that the concept won’t work. This app in its current state is deserted and has no users. Renters post items & will leave the app after they realize that there’s no user base looking to rent. Then (IF) they ever do get the offer, it’ll be long after they've removed the app from their phones. I’ve attempted renting from others with no responses. I hope that this concept will be realized eventually.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback. Regarding the app, our product team work hard on fixing the bugs that have been flagged to us. These types of fixes come every few months and we hope the next release will have a better usability for you and other users. We have a number of things we are working on as well as fixing bugs and making the user experience smooth and seamless. Now while this is no quick fix, and we greatly appreciate your patience in this time whilst we work on further developments.

Come a long way

Great platform. I rent camera gear on Fat Llama all the time and in the early days the app was pretty buggy so I stuck to the web based version. Over the last few months the maps and messaging has improved significantly and now I prefer the app. Super easy to use and intuitive.
