Love the widgets added in iOS 14, and want to access your favorite contacts on the home screen? This is the app for you!

It's incredibly simple to use, and the widgets look great.

What’s New

Version 1.0.3

Hey all! Thanks for using Favorites Widgetizer! This update just fixes a couple little bugs.

In case you missed 1.0.1, here's what's new:
• Changed the dark mode background to pure black
• Changed the profile picture's shadow to black (instead of a blurred version of the picture)
• Reworded some things to make the editing process more clear
• Fixed a bug where you were unable to store more than 9 contacts
• Added placeholder contacts to the "add widget" view
• Added a "reset all settings" button
• Made the system background color the default widget appearance
• Fixed a couple other little things

Stay tuned for v1.1! I've got some exciting stuff on the way.

Great tool!

Cool widget. However, I seem to have an issue when I choose a person and check on text, it will still default to phone. Any help would be appreciated.

Why we need favorites widget? to instantly call contacts with one tap right? without any additional questions and pop ups... well this app opens itself, needs one more tap to call contact and it leaving app open after call... if i could tap and call contact without any questions and leave nothing open it will be perfect, will wait for change (fix) or i have to uninstall... 5 star for minimalism, interface and cuz it's free.

Developer Response ,

Hey Jafarson,
As much as I wish I could make it that simple, Apple's new WidgetKit system doesn't support just running some code without opening the app. And the only method for initiating a call requires a confirmation prompt.

Sorry for any inconvenience!

Not as good as it seems...

Not as good as it seems...

I just downloaded the app and was adding people from my contacts to the app but it doesn’t allow you to select which number you want to use. As a default it only takes the first number in each contact. Many of my contacts have multiple numbers (home, cell, work and work cell) and the only way to get this to work properly is to delete all the numbers on the phone app and add them back making the number you want at the top of the list. Unless I’m missing something this app is useless. 👎🏻 👎🏻
