Description

This app has been developed for the students of Built Environment (BE) subjects at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. It is intended to teach students about the operation of a hydraulic excavator and for them to practice the controls. The experience includes a series of tutorial and lets the students control the model via a set of on-screen joysticks. The 3D model can be placed on a surface in the real-world using augmented reality (AR) technology, allowing the student to observe it with spatial perspective and drive it around the room. Students will then be able to practice digging with the excavator before translating their skills from this digital twin to the scale physical remote-control model at UNSW.

I hope you’re having to show me more complicated AR simulation applications for education!

Just right now the controller was very difficult to control because I think!If adjustable sensitivity settings have the problems of difficult controls was done!And then It wanted simulation sounds like realistic!I trusting you! You can do it soon! So let me enjoying perfect applications!!Come on man!!

Cool but then disappointing

Drops a very realistic excavator on any surface. Controls are very smooth. Too bad they are wrong. This would be SAE controls except that the boom up and boom down controls are backwards. If the developers fix this they will have a nice app.
