Accidents happen every day, even in offices. Here, they tend to be primarily tripping and falling accidents. The FCOS SafetyCheck will help you to identify the biggest hazards in your offices and plan the necessary measures.
By using it together with the browser-based FCOS-Checkbox web application – that is also free of charge – you can ensure a safe and healthy working environment with a minimum of effort.
The free app includes:
- A checklist of the hazards that are most frequently found in offices
- An evaluation and recommendations for measures
- A record of the hazards using photography
- Synchronisation of the data with the FCOS Checkbox
Thanks to five new features, EKAS-Checkbox is now even user-friendlier and optimally adapted for use in SME. We asked companies how we could further improve EKAS-Checkbox. Your feedback has been included in this revision.
PDF export of SafetyCheck and ErgoCheck protocols
If safety officers perform a SafetyCheck or ErgoCheck, they can now export the resulting report as a PDF file. This simplifies reporting to supervisors and documentation.
For complete documentation, security officers can use the Positive Check function not only to document defects, but also positive situations they find in the company.
Individual designation for SafetyCheck
With SafetyCheck, it is now also possible to give the check its own name. In this way, the check or its naming can be individually adapted to the circumstances of the company. For example, you can name the checks by office number, department or an entire floor. Depending on which premises a check covers.
Advanced reminders with delegate function
Once a check has been carried out, it has to be ensured that improvement measures are also implemented. A push-notification function directly on the smartphone reminds the security officer to implement the necessary measures. It also has the option of delegating tasks to other employees.
If the safety officer discovers defects or hazards during a SafetyCheck, such as cables lying around (attention: tripping hazard!), it makes sense to point this out to the employees concerned. For this purpose, EKAS-Box is now even more prominent as a teaching aid integrated in EKAS-Checkbox. The simple learning videos of EKAS-Box show how defects and hazards can be avoided and eliminated.
These new features are available free of charge to new and existing users of EKAS-Checkbox. Log in as an existing user or create an account for your company for free as a new user and benefit from the simple online tool for more safety and health in your company.
