I haven’t been able to find a financial planning and tracking app that doesn’t feel like I’m serving the app rather than it serving me. I wanted an overall dashboard of where I’m at financially, plus an easy way to monitor my monthly spending without all the data entry and categories to track. I did the initial income, expense and savings entry on the Fearless Finance website and got a clear report of where I’m at and what I should focus on for the coming year. The site connects with the app to set monthly goals and if you link your debit and credit card accounts, all you have to do is look at a progress bar for 2 key spending categories - automatically categorized for you- to know where you are during the month and whether you’re on budget or need to reign it in. It keeps me on track without being an additional burden on my time, meaning I’ll actually stick with it. So happy I tried it!

I’ve used Mint for a while trying to track my expenses and it felt like a lot of time and was never very efficient. This app is great - distills your monthly spending down to two easy categories and has a super easy interface to swipe and organize your expenses. I’ve used it two months so far and have been so happy to have a handle on my monthly spending without feeling like I’m constantly monitoring it.

I hadn’t kept track of my daily expenses in years because I found it too overwhelming and tedious. But Fearlessfinance has made it very doable! I like that it keeps track of my groceries and discretionary expenses straight from my accounts. I just have to view it to know if I’m staying within my budget or not. I will save more money now as a result!
