Feelway offers you an AI companion for talking or chatting about psychological topics, based on proven methods. It helps you to reduce so-called dysfunctional feelings — emotions that can contribute to problematic behaviors or rumination loops. These include: excessive anger, overwhelm, doubt or fear. Additionally, Feelway supports you in uncovering unconscious avoidance behaviors that often arise through excuses and rationalizations.
The app focuses on emotions that tend to have more negative than positive consequences for your emotional wellbeing, thus classified as "dysfunctional" emotions. These emotions can occur in anyone, often as a reaction to stress, conflicts, or difficult life circumstances. The goal of the app is to mitigate these dysfunctional emotions and accompanying behaviors. Feelway is a supportive tool, not providing medical diagnoses or treatments, but rather focusing on education and self-help.
Features:
• Interactive AI Conversations: Our AI companion, based on psychological principles, guides you through a reflection process to help you discover new coping strategies. If you ever feel stuck, simply reply with “I don't know,” and the AI will help you move forward.
• Visualize your vicious cycles: You can create your own emotional vicious cycles and better understand your feelings. Another visual representation shows how the vicious cycles can be broken – e.g. through helpful thoughts or alternative actions that can positively affect your emotions.
• Data Protection and Security: Feelway adheres to the highest data protection standards. Your reflections are private by default. You can also share your insights anonymously to help others.
• User Reflection Database: Explore reflections from other users to find inspiration and learn from their experiences.
