This would be the perfect app except for two small things: local documentation on its use (not that it's pretty self-evident after a few minutes of fiddling, but still…), and the red "close" button on the app window does not work. The close button not working is a pretty glaring error. Other than than those two critiques, don't let that stop you from buying this app. It really does work exactly the way you would expect it to. It'll verify the MD5 or SHA256 and many other common hashes in a couple of clicks. VERY CONVENIENT AND USEFUL! I would give this app five stars if not for the two small critiques that I mentioned at the beginning of this review.

It does what it is supposed to do and works quickly supporting most of the hash methods out there. My only complaint is that you cannot calculate the hash of a folder - only individual files.

It's a bit sad to get pointed to that empty page...

Under the hood, we've completely reworked how files are processed. Even multi-gigabyte files are now handled smoothly, with a live progress bar so you always know where things stand.
