FileBrowser Pro 4+

Love this software on my iPad, so I thought I would pick up the MAC version... I imported the connections from my iPad... struggled a bit reconnecting the office servers... but got that going, now if I could only get OneDrive for Business to work right.. I can sort of browse to the local drive version, but I can't get the official hooks to work... it tries to validate me somehow to an admin... but I thought I was the admin... also, no such issue with the iPad (used for years).

I recently discoved this app for the iPad and I love it. I really want to use the Mac version but as of right now it's far too limited for a desktop app. The most immediate areas that need improvement are navigation. We need arrow key navigation, an option to not have a single click launch a file rather than select it, we should be able to use quicklook with the spacebar while hovered over a file, and we desperatly need to be able to launch certain features like bookmarks, new tabs, etc using keyboard shortcuts (preferably customizable). There is way to much clicking and menu navigation required for a desktop application, and I'm guessing that's because this was an iOS app first. This has great promise but in it's curent state it would be a very inefficient file browser to use compared to something like Forklift or Commander One because it clearly hasn't been optimized for navigating with mouse and keyboard rather than touch.

Excellent File Transfer Utility. Is veryreliable. Just be aware that if you are copy/receiving file from/to a drive that isa SOFTRaid (6.3) formatted drive that these drives will not show up on the target systen under FileBrowswer until you initiate sharing for each RAID drive on the host system. This is not a flaw in FileBrowser or SOFTRaid. I is a result of a design chane in SOFTraid 6.3, where they have removed support for SMB. You can finf details about this online at SOFTRaid Tech Support. If you are using standard Apple Utility formated drives you will not need to worry about this
