fix the bug please！

I wasted 5 dollars today because a Cornell staff told new students that we could drop off our used takeout container and pick up a new one LATER. Using that information, I scanned and dropped off my new container and intended to pick up my new container after dinner because the line and crowd control was incredibly poor. When I went to the front desk to pick up a new container, I was met with criticism and negative comments from the lady working there, Apparently, dropping off and picking up a new container has to be done AT ONCE: you CANNOT pick up a new container later.

With that being said, the app couldn’t even prove that I already turned in my container 30 minutes ago. I even showed the lady proof that I payed the 5 $ fee to buy the container. She said that everything was useless and I HAD to spend another $5 to get a new container, even though I was already part of the container program. I am tired of having to spend useless and unnecessary fees on campus, $5 adds up.

Not only does the app need work, but the staff needs to revisit the customer service department.

This would be a great app to use for promoting sustainability and water conservation, but the scanner hardly ever works. Probably less than half of the time if I had to estimate. It just presents a black screen as the scan or crashes the app. If the scanner isn’t going to work, I wish they would just have an icon on your profile you could just tap to add a refill. That would be much easier (and it has a built in pun already with “tap” being water related). You could have separate icons to choose from if you have separate bottles you had different barcodes for. That way you could just pick an icon to fill up instead of switching bottles at the scan stage, which doesn’t work half the time. You can restart the app and your phone as many times as you want; there is no rhyme or reason as to when it works and when it doesn’t. This app is basically unusable without the scan feature working.
