Whether you’re shooting for film, broadcast, or your family reunion, Filmic Pro will take your footage to the next level. It’s the same app that experts have used to shoot commercial projects around the world, providing complete control over your camera’s focus, exposure, frame rates, and more. It’s powerful on its own but built to support external microphones, lens adapters, and other production accessories. It really does put true professional-quality videography at your fingertips.
I found Filmic Pro after researching all of the best tools for iPhone to take full advantage of its powerful camera. I can say (without writing an essay) that it’s hands down, the best app for taking control of your camera. Try it! open it up and without even tweaking a single setting, see the bold difference. Even if you’re not a pro (I’m not), it is easy to learn with some basic knowledge and patience. I recommend giving it a try, I do not think you will be disappointed.
I love it great features superior resolution video recording on my iPhone 15 not that iPhone 15 isn’t good but if you want the best Filmic is the way to go hands down. Honest review. They’ve been around for along time and I’m just now coming back to the fold. Just like old times but even better!
Excellent app with enough controls that, if used correctly, provides excellent, high quality images/video. It takes some effort to learn the controls, but you won’t be disappointed if you learn how to use them.
I use to love Filmic and paid for the pro version. But along the way, Filmic got greedy and switched to a subscription model. The pro version was frozen at version 6, and if you wanted new features you had to subscribe to a whole new app (this one). Over the past year, I’ve completely switched to Blackmagic and you should too. Not only is it free, but Blackmagic knows hardware and color science better than most. You won’t be sorry for switching.
I paid the fee to have full access to the pro features a couple years ago, and now they have removed my access in favor of a subscription service. Here is the thing, I already paid for the full access, I shouldn’t have to then paid all over again because YOU the developer decided to be greedy. Many users have reported their loss of access and so I have decided to never use this app again. It was nice, but their choices have made it very clear it’s not about filmmaking, it’s about money.
Purchased pro long time ago. Apparently too long for the new investors. Now trying to squeeze out more money from those pesky old buyers sitting on their pro version. Introducing new obstacles to jump through to use the app. Tried to record on a flight lately but couldnt due to no network connection or similar. What? Then later needed agree to all kinds of stuff before basic usage was possible. And the link to download the old version (6?) was dead!!??
