I think it’s pretty good, but I wish the devs would have played Doom and Destiny to get an idea of the best way to create controls for a tablet/phone. It is annoying when crossing the millions of bridges when my character is sprinting into the corner of the bridge and has the hardest time going around, despite my movements trying to get them there. Which I find weird because I have it set to walk, not run. I guess that option is broken?Overall, good work, but I’m afraid that they won’t update it to fix bugs.

Update: where are all these one star reviews coming from?! After all the updates this and every other FF title still runs perfectly! Don't listen to the trolls So I beat this game a while back as a part of my crusade to purchase and beat all FF games on the App Store. This...game...is...a...masterpiece!!!!! I LOVE the old school polygonal pixely 64-graphics. It brings me back to the days of playing Zelda on my N64. Not to mention Quest 64...the best turn-based RPG ever for the N64. Needless to say this is without a doubt the most amazing Final Fantasy game I've ever played! By far the best and most enjoyable part of this game is the sophisticated job class system, where you can change each party member's job class at any time during the game as much as you want with a total of 23 classes becoming available to you throughout the game. The boss battles are EPIC and unforgettable. Probably the best of all the Final Fantasy games, with the final boss being one of the hardest son of a guns I've ever faced! Everything about this game is so incredibly rewarding, from beating that tough boss that's been slaughtering you to shreds to the mind blowing story line. It's the best 16 bucks you could ever hope to spend in the App Store!!!❤️❤️❤️Next stop...Final Fantasy IV!!!!!!!

The game has a very captivating story, though the story isn’t really portrayed in the best way, the plot for an rpg like this is very good, honestly a remake to this game in the style of final fantasy XV but still keep the same battle menu and encounter style as the remake/ original, or make the play style a little similar to secret of mana. The beginning CGI movie looks amazing too it fills the player with many emotions with the animations and music together, a movie about this game wouldn’t be a bad idea, especially being that the characters in this game don’t really get the attention they deserve within the final fantasy franchise. Playing this game and going through the story and really diving into the game always puts a smile on my face and thinking about the circumstances of the protagonists and their development throughout the game is also nice to think about, sadly you don’t really get to see that much with the game but still to think about it is still heart warming. Honestly just a really good game with a lot more potential

First off, to anyone who doesn't know how to save the game, I am dumbfounded by the fact that you somehow learned to read and write, let alone successfully write a review for this game. It really is impossible to be that stupid. You're just too lazy to spend one minute doing a google search. Secondly, this app shouldn't be 15 bucks. 4.99 is really what the game is worth. However, there are surprisingly few bugs in the game (on my iPhone 4 anyway). Never experienced a game crash. Controls function extremely well IMO. But I purchased this app a couple hours after downloading the Neill Corlett fan translation of the NES version. While I usually enjoy updates to old games more than the original, I surprisingly found myself drawn back to the original. While this version includes a lot that the NES version didn't, it seems to lack that certain "something" that the original has. Stick to the NES version unless you want a mobile version to play on the go and are part of the 10% of the human population that doesn't live in painful, abject poverty.

another classic coming from Square Enix! when this app was first released i was really excited to see how they performed and they did good! Square Enix is absolutely world wide famouse thanks to there famouse Final Fantasy series. i must say that this game is great for road trips or when you just want to relax and play a game but i do have some issues with the game itself that in my opinion need some fixing.1)the story line for this game sucked2) the begining of the game is a little didficult just because your trying to level up without getting killed all the time but when ur patience is running thin because your such a low level that all you can kill are goblins who only give you 1expits really frusterating.these are the only two problems that i really saw in the game so far because other than those flaws the game is seemingly flawless and is allot of fun no matter your age or gender and i would recomend this game to anyone who is a fan of classic styled RPG games.

This is definitely my favorite game right now. I've waited on getting it because of the big price tag but since it was on sale I got it. I think it is great and this is really my intro to FF. I must say I love the cartoon style graphics, if you make more please make them on this style or I probably wouldn't want to buy it.There are only two things I would like changed: 1) When you do a quicksave I would like to have the option to continue playing rather than going back to the main menu. 2) the controls for walking around get kind of frustrating and they could be a lot better; very often I end up running into walls because my character won't turn around. 3) I would like an "all attack" button to make battles quicker. 4) please make it so you can buy MP potions as well as HP ones.Other than those things I wouldn't change anything yet. The touch controls work so wonderfully it is amazing! I hope you make more like it!UPDATE:I have played this game for over 10 hours now and still haven't finished it. Even once I finish the story I will still enjoy leveling up my characters and trying out all the jobs. As you beat bosses more jobs get added to your list so right now I have over 15 different jobs. You can tell that this is made professionally and I am glad. This game has NEVER CRASHED on my iPod Touch 4G so far, some times the constant crashing or slowness of other games gets really old. I paid a lot for this game so I guess it should be this good. Well, back off to play some more.
