FinCalc 4+

I don’t usually write reviews, but this app was so unusable I felt compelled. I was hoping this would work for mortgage calculations, sadly no. First, when attempting to apply a 7.125% rate, the calculator truncates at the second place. 7.125% is NOT the same as 7.12%. Mortgages calculations are usually calculated to the 3rd decimal place. Secondly, and the thing that makes it completely useless for my purposes, when calculating payments, it truncates the number of payments - 360 payments becomes 36, 250 payments becomes 25. It apparently cannot accept a payment structure greater than 249. I tried adding a decimal point and sometimes it works - 250. calculates 250 payments, but 360. still truncates to 36 payments. Its unreliable for basic calculations so in the trash it goes.

The fields don’t allow me to paste the values from another source (i.e. cmd-v) and I often get an error message that I must complete all the fields when I click on Calculate Repayment even though all the fields have already been filled out.
