Questions

A couple questions: I’m excited to start my journey with finch but the app seems to be stuck on Activate Card. When I click it says “card processing. Check back in a few minutes”. It’s been saying that for days. Is a card on its way in the mail?
Also, when I go to Email Support it says email not set up, but there is an email listed on my account profile.

Developer Response ,

Hi there, we're sorry you're having trouble! We recently released an update that resolves the card issue. When you install the newest version and accept the agreement, just give it a couple of minutes and you'll be able to activate your Rewards Card. Please email us at support@finchmoney.com if you have any trouble!

Literally the best

Update: I need to update this review because this app got even better. I get 5% cash back on ALL of my purchases. That’s top notch stuff right there! And the things they have on their to do list make this app more than competitive with other neobanks/fintechs out there. Still a 10/10, I recommend it to everyone I know because of just how good it is.

The ONLY negative thing I’d have to say is that I wish my money didn’t have to be invested in stocks/bond(etfs). I’d like to either not be invested at all, or be invested into something very low risk and consistent that’s un-correlated to the stock market due to its recent volatility. And that’s honestly not enough to prevent me from using the app, not even close to enough to prevent me from loving it.

Original: The returns are daily and amazing. For reference, I went for a mostly growth strategy (60% growth, 30% bonds, 10% cash) and I put in $210. I’ve gotten as high as $0.43 in a day, typically making under $0.10 a day. While it’s not much, it could end up buying me a donut at the end of every month. It’s honestly so worth it to open a Finch account. Their website also has a ton of useful articles. TL;DR Get the app, it’s a 10/10 experience all the way around

Developer Response ,

We're so excited about your daily returns! This is one of our team's favorite features. 🙌

Be warned.

I’ve invested a few times in this app.
$3000 before they kept misplacing $500-$900 a day. Gave them a second chance with $10k and $5,000 got hung up in their system because it couldn’t be processed from a new update. A month and a half for my refund and lots of nagging from me. They gave me $1000 on random days over two weeks. Probably collecting money from my “lost funds” while I gained nothing.

Be warned. You can be cut off at any point because at this point they can’t guarantee your access.
Be warned. Before the daily updates being listed you could lose money very easily. Without screenshots as proof and several conversations including the staff still questioning your honesty they’ll DECIDE if it’s a cause worthy of correction (I always got my funds back).
Be warned. Sorry credits of $20, $30 and whatever they’re offering will always go back to them so don’t feel this means anything.
Be warned. Watch this app closely if you decide to invest. They will lie. They will use its infancy as an excuse. They pretend to be a great alternative banking but they are just like any other shady bank that cares only about their profits.
