DO NOT buy Findster products! Their customer service is TERRIBLE. We purchased a GPS and 3 module trackers for my dogs as a Christmas gift. The connection is terrible, my dogs could be 25 yds from me, in an open field and it loses signal. Besides the connection, the GPS map is so blurry on my phone you can't hardly tell where anything is. Such a big disappointment. Not being able to track the dogs defeats the whole reason we had bought them. I tried asking them to return it but they said we didn't return it within the 30 day grace period... I explained it was bought as a Christmas gift. It was purchased Dec 15, given as a gift Dec 29th, we tried it on the 1st. I tried troubleshooting issues and gave up. I sent an email Jan 22 requesting my money back. I was well within my 30 days of trying the product from when I sent them an email - but no, they reiterated they must stick to their rules and follow the 30 days from purchased date to when I requested to return the item. No exception - even though it was during the Christmas holiday when things are purchased before hand. All I can say they must not have that much confidence in their product to not back it up.

I’ve been trying to reach anyone at customer service with zero responses. So I see that some reviews have had responses here-so that’s my goal. I was super happy with this GPS unit (for 2 dogs actually)- then for about the last 2 months almost every single day/every time I use it-it wont work. It says Bluetooth is turned off-but it isn’t. I’ve tried to re-pair & close everything out & re-start and it worked once & hasn’t since. I NEED this to work. My babies are my whole world & if they got lost I’d die. They’ve already gotten out once-that’s why I bought this. I don’t know if I got a faulty set? Or what but I need someone to get back to me ASAP! Please!!! I need a whole new set or someone to troubleshoot with me. Please contact me...

I originally gave 1 star- I have now given 5 stars.
Once I had a good/reliable customer service representative- all of my issues were addressed and taken care of. I was sent a replacement for both devices and The newer version is MUCH better. Even the charging device has a much better design and significantly improved. I haven’t had any issues with the replacements. Once it was decided that they would be replaced- I received it in one day. I am very pleased with the performance of everything now and there was no charge for me. Thank you findster! I now have great piece of mind!

Good for Little Ms “Gets Lost In Her Smells A Lot”
Use case: hikes w/2 furkids, one who likes smelling all the things and going where she wishes and the other who is obsessed with !!BALL!!. Instead of tracking 3 things at once (not losing the ball being the 3rd) this allows me to let her royal wiggle buttness wander as she wishes. Have my regular hike areas cached and low/no cell signal doesn’t affect operation. Split my time between river bottoms, and foothills and thick forest and the few times she has lost herself I’ve been able to track her super easily with no panic (the exact reason for the purchase).
Can’t find how to change daily activity preset value? So that the percentage goal is something more her speed.
What file format is the data being stored as? It’d be “fun” to be able to push these files to any of the fitness social networks (strava, etc). Have lat/long/timestamp… will travel (via .fit) to a new app! :)
