Description

Try the ultimate solo card challenge with Finished!, one of 2020's best new board game apps according to Ars Technica. Beat Friedemann Friese in the Daily Challenge!

Try to get all your work done before you run out of coffee and candy in Finished! by renowned board and card game designer Friedemann Friese.

Deal 3 cards at a time, like regular solitaire but you can use candy to activate cards to draw more and rearrange them. Gain more candy when you have a run of cards (e.g. 7-8-9). If you love Spider or FreeCell solitaire you'll love Finished!

Finished! features fantastic fun, smooth animation, subtle sound effects and dynamic music that changes with your gameplay. Try the Daily Challenge which Friedemann plays *every* day. See if you can literally beat him at his own game. :)

No portrait mode :(

I am very impressed by this game and can see it becoming one of my go-to games... if a portrait mode somehow gets added. I’m guessing that’s probably not going to happen based on the dev’s other solitaire games using portrait mode as a selling point, but a man can dream...

I’m probably in a fussy minority here, but I am 100% more likely to pick up a quick solitaire game like this if I can easily play with one hand while waiting in line or standing on the train/bus. That said, I did just get a 12 mini that makes landscape mode a bit easier on the wrists. :)

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your great review. Portrait mode for iPhone is on my to-do list. I'm not sure how to fit everything and make it nice but I want to try.

Good implementation

Update: Thanks for the reply! Now that I know how to see my Future cards i have no complaints really. To be honest I’m addicted. Five stars

————————-

The problem is when cards get sent to the future I can no longer read what they are since they get pushed beyond the edge of the screen, which to me is essential information. There should be a way I can scroll up to see them if i need to. Also a way to “reset” all my attempts would be appreciated since my first several tries were just learning games.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your review! I need to update the help and tutorial to explain that you can tap and drag down to pull the future cards down to look at them. Also, if you'd like to reset your statistics you can go to the Statistics screen and tap the "Reset..." button in the upper-right. If you're having any trouble getting either of these to work please email me at eric@sniderware.com and I can help!

Lots of Card Games: Few good ones

There are a lot of card games on the App Store. It’s hard to sort the good ones out from the bad ones.

I recently played Friday, from the same maker. It was a lot of fun. I decided to get this one on a whim, and why not, it was free. And I wasn’t disappointed.

The game involves a lot of strategy, is single player, and it easy to pick up. Highly Recommend this little gem. Also check out the other stuff. All really fun games.
