Room for improvement
I mostly use this app to check my account balance. While it’s easy to navigate I don’t like that I can’t see or select how far back to view account transactions. Yes, there’s an option to view the statement the bank creates but there’s a gap of about 1-2 weeks between that and viewing your account. I would like to see an option where you can select how many weeks back to view your account transactions.
After being with BOA, I can see how spoiled we were with pretty apps and online banking looks. I 'chose' to make the move, I was not forced as has been suggested by a previous reviewer. Obviously a new bank will give a different look, as long as it works, thats all that matters to me. The mobil app needs work, I don't see any place to make a check deposit as of yet. Once that gets fixed then we're good to go. I'd have given 4 stars if the deposit problem was not there. It gets the job done.
And as for the other reviewer who was disappointed, that person obviously did not read the packet we were all given. It stated that MOST bill payees would move. What I found was the ones who required a check to be sent by the bank did transfer over correctly. The others needed to be re-entered and checked to see if they could use an electronic payment or needed a check, they were electronically paid before in BOA.
Why is there no history
Unfortunately this is the most poorly designed bank app I’ve used. Most people use banking apps to check their account balances but also to see their transaction history. So they don’t have to use a hand written register. PLEASE update this to something more user friendly. Update transaction history page!!
