On Friday, July 5, I had the occasion of visiting your Marina Del Ray branch. Something had gone wrong with my app and I could not logon. I must say that everybody at this branch is very professional but “Esmeralda” took it up on herself and was very helpful. She stayed with me, made several phone calls, was extremely professional and the problem was solved. I left Bank Of AMERICA in part because of attitudes with their staff. I’m very happy with the professionalism of your employees at the Marina branch.

I don’t think I can recall one time where this app has actually worked. As someone who works 12 hours a day, by the time I get off, the bank is always closed so I’m stuck with checks that I have no way of depositing. However, the app says you can take a picture and it will deposit it into your bank account. Well that sure would be nice if the app actually worked. I’ve been with First Bank for over 21 years and I’m considering switching to a different bank because of the fact that they still cannot get their crap together and get their app to work.
First Bank, it is 2018. Almost everything is done on a smart phone now. Please, for the sake of all of your clients, hire some IT guru that knows what they’re doing and can fix your app. I have looked on your website for an email address to send a complaint to and had no such luck. So unfortunately you get my feedback through a review instead. Please make your website and your app more accessible to all users otherwise I’ll have to find a bank that does because this is ridiculous and I’m over it.
To all those considering downloading this app, do yourself a favor and don’t. It takes up unnecessary space on my phone and every time I see it, I get ticked off because it won’t work. Save yourself the headache. You’ll thank me later.
Good when it works, but hardly ever works
When the app works, it’s great and very easy to use. The problem is it hardly ever works on my iphone 11. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes to start up only to tell me there is a problem. I have wasted 20 minutes numerous times just trying to get on to check a balance or deposit a check only to have an error message. I’ll have to answer my security questions and then at the point I think Im finally gonna get to look at my accounts, error message. It’s getting ridiculous. Fix it please! And update your atm locations. You have all kinds of false Atm locations that are not First Bank ATMs anymore but still show up on the app as if they were First Bank ATMs.
