* With Tap to Pay on iPhone, merchants can accept all types of in-person, contactless payments right on their iPhone — from physical debit and credit cards to Apple Pay and other digital wallets. No extra terminals or hardware needed.
* Tap to Pay on iPhone uses the built-in features of iPhone to help keep merchant and customer data private and secure. When a payment is processed, Apple doesn’t store card numbers on the device or on Apple servers.
System requirements:
Tap to Pay on iPhone requires the latest version of iOS. Update to the latest version by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Tap Download and Install. Customer Service
I opened my account with FGB W Thomas in Hammond in 1989 and it’s been a great relationship. It’s nice to walk into the bank and your banker identifies you by name. When I moved to Livingston parish in 2000 I started banking with the Denham location and now at Watson location. Both local locations have outstanding service from the tellers to management! Love FGB!!
Super Easy
I switched from Capital One to First Guarantee three years ago. I used both apps and find First Guarantee super easy to use and very comprehensive. I can see all of my accounts at one time and can do all of my regular banking using it. Deposits are a snap, bill pay is great, monitoring credit card purchases gives peace of mind, and I can even keep an eye on my mortgage and CD activity. Bank staff are super helpful as well when I stop by for non-routine banking services.
Face ID doesn’t work
Overall the app works. I can check my accounts, see bill pay and transfer money. Logging in, however, has been a struggle. The Face ID option only works is I completely close the app by swiping it away on my iPhone. I already checked to see if I missed an update. Also, I’m having trouble with check deposit. The app crashes on me when I try to submit a Mi Ike deposit.
