Almost every time I try to open this app it crashes! I can be so far as having it open to making a transfer to just opening the app! Very frustrating! Scares me that it crashes while my account information is open! Please fix! This has been happening for the last few month.
Changed for the worse
Since the recent revamp, I have been plagued with log in issues. At first I noticed that the Touch ID option was occasionally not available so I was required to use my password. Then I noticed that sometimes my user name would be auto populated and other times it wouldn’t. Nearly every time I log into the app, I’m taken through a new user tutorial regardless of if I click “later” or “let’s go”. Some times I’m not able to log in at all because the app is “unable to process my request”. I’ve been having these issues for weeks and only a few days ago the app started requiring text message verification codes to log in. Customer service has been no help. This has been enough of a hassle that I am considering changing banks to get away from this app.
App has lots of bugs
Every time I open the app it is just a white screen. I have to force close the app to get it to go away. Once I do it clears my saved Face ID login and have to enter my password manually. Despite going through all the tips screens that appear every time I open the app, they come up after every login. I use the mobile app more than I go to the bank. If these bugs aren’t fixed soon, I will be moving my money to a bank that invests in their mobile app. Another reason to move would be to have contactless payment. Despite having Apple Pay setup, every time I go the grocery store and pay with my Debit Card connected Apple Watch, I have to enter my pin. FMB should also update all their ATMs with Apple Pay so customers don’t have to touch the screens.
