A good app; not great
A good app in that account overview and transfers can be executed, but these functionalities are common amongst most banking apps. The biometrics functionality is what I have a problem with... the app NEVER remembers my biometrics despite opting in with EACH login.
Car payment issues
Idk about using this app just for banking, or on a computer but using it to pay a car payment on the phone is terrible! It took me awhile to figure out how to even make the payment, It’s under personal loan. The app does not save your login info, so you have to login every time with all of information including your bank routing and account number. Which would be fine except if I go out of this app it makes me start all over so I then have to write down everything I need and type it all again. It’s really a pain to go through all that just to pay a bill... if you call they make you pay a 5.00 processing fee and if you go through your personal bank it takes them around 5 days or so to process. First reliance really should come up with an easier way for their customers who don’t have bank accounts through FR to pay bills!
Simple and functional
Nothing flashy but app is quick to log in and works fine to display my balance.
My one complaint is that the money symbols are based on whatever region your phone is set to, not your actually account currency! My iPhone is UK region, so all of my money displays as GBP (£) rather than USD $. I only wish I had 1.3x the amount in my bank account! A simple regionalisation fix should sort it out (the numbers are accurate, at least).
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
