First Round's On Me 17+

I learned about this app when Joe was ‘The Single Woman’ Facebook page. By the end of the live feed I was excited to start using the app. Unfortunately it is not in my city yet. But I will check back periodically to see if it is. I live in Columbus Ohio and hope you come out here soon.

Updated March 16, 2023; I will definitely give you five star rating when it comes to Columbus. Not only because it will come to my city but I think this will actually work for me. I love the concept of meeting people instead of just texting or talking forever.

UPDATE 7/7/24: Since the most recent app update, it’s prompting me to create a new account! So either my account was deleted or they’re having login issues 🤯🤯 so frustrating!!! Please fix this and let me login!

Great for actually going on dates. But very buggy and no responses to my support requests! Main problem: The app crashes when you try to view someone who asked you out on the same day that you already have a date. So it’s impossible to move it or even look at their profile. Very sad since you’re completely missing out on someone who invited you!! Sometimes after sending an invite or sending your interest, nothing happens so you have to close the app and reopen it to refresh. Chat messages don’t update in real time. For example I was waiting for someone to confirm and finally just sent a message myself and then their message popped up but they had sent it 20 minutes earlier 😒😒. It just hadn’t shown up. So the notifications overall are really wonky. You also can’t zoom in on profile photos which is a bummer. Overall lots of improvements to be made…. But it is much better than other apps to actually meet people.

The core idea of this app is solid- making sure you actually want to go out with someone before liking them is very clever. But that makes the people who pop up on our screens even MORE important. Not having filters for religion or politics is a huge mistake- going to a date with someone who has completely different fundamental beliefs is a disaster waiting to happen. Moreover, allowing you to filter out people who aren’t active- “only show people online in the last day last week, let month, etc., ,” or something like that will encourage users to actually remain active on the app for the hopes of matching and keep up their interest more than seeing only people who left three months ago will. Moreover, there HAS to be a location filter, along with a “what are you looking for filter.” Even as a serious dating app, people emphasizing their seriousness by picking that as an option amplifies that reality. Finally, this app is SCREAMING for you guys to host your own events! You can make it a thing “this Thursday ask your date to go to XYZ with us!”

hi Todebro , Thank you for the great feedback. In regards to filters , filters work great for large apps with a very large user base, we will add our filter and location settings once we get. little bigger. We are adding a "looking for" filter, that is great feedback. And we do have events, we will continue to add more :)
