Half the work is done for you!

Macy has done such a great job with this platform! I had a hard enough time figuring out what workout I wanted to do each day before having my baby, but now there’s definitely no time to sit and think and think about it. This takes out all that work and allows you to dive right in and get it done. There’s such a wide variety of workouts with the subscription and categorized well so you can quickly find what you want. The only thing that would be helpful is if the app checked off workouts as you completed them or allowed you to mark them yourself to help you keep track of where you are in a program or know when you’re repeating a workout before getting part of the way through (like just a tiny checkmark in the corner of the thumbnail or something). Can’t wait to try more of the programs after finishing BAB!

Pros and cons to motherhood series

Pros- good use of equipment for a small home gym. Was attracted to this programming because it was strength and didn’t use any equipment that was too fancy, had everything in my home gym already. The programming is accessible for an expecting mother and there’s lots to choose from.

Cons- sound quality is awful on some videos, I have it cast to my TV and with volume at the top she still whispers. Videos are too slow and too fast at the same time. What should be a 25 min workout takes double the time, sometimes 15 minute at the start is just her talking. Then, when she does get to demonstrating the workout, she goes way too fast for the average person to keep up with. It’s hard to be motivated for these videos because I’m constantly fast forwarding and pausing instead of just focusing on a good flow of workout. She had lots of info, but I’m not convinced she’s mastered it since so much is read from her computer notes, and it’s unclear if it’s her own notes or Google.

For all the cons, I’m not sure I would recommend the price of this motherhood series to others. $145 and I can’t hear or comfortably follow along, unfortunately. You do get a lot of programming so if you know how to do the moves already, you can just follow the workout plan provided on each video.

Thank you Macy🩷

I absolutely loved this program! I started more in my 2nd trimester and loved how I was able to still love my body. I walked my dog everyday for 30 mins on top of these exercises, since I was doing that anyways before. Towards the end I stopped but did mainly stretch and breath work. I ended up having a C Section, however am in my 3rd week of recovery and feeling good. Not that it ever mattered to me, but apparently I don’t look like I ever was pregnant. All that hugging my baby I was doing I’m assuming 🩷. I love what my body did and I love what Macy did with this program. I did have to change up some of the stuff due to my sciatic per my Chrio, but it all paid off. Thank you Macy for your program, love watching you and your family grow and thank you for being real🩷.
