Description
Panthers Protecting Panthers is a multi-language mobile and desktop application developed to extend the process of non-invasive screening, return-to-campus check-in and information sharing for employees and students of Florida International University.

Version 2.6.6
FIU no longer requires screening of Students and Faculty to come back to class, therefore we have removed:
- Safety Screening checklist
- Authentication
The app will serve as a resource in further communication of University policy and protocol with regards to Covid-19.

On Campus Notification
It would help tremendously if we, Panthers would receive a notification as soon as we get on campus to remind us about the Covid protocol and the use of the app. Without notification, it’s easy for people to forget.
Good App, Fulfills its Purpose
I don’t know where all the negative reviews are coming from. Sure the app could be smoother and better looking but it’s quick and it works, functionality is what matters here, and that is met. It was obviously made on a whim, as well as to accommodate all types of devices.
Some of you don’t appreciate the advanced level of technical knowledge that goes into creating mobile applications. If you think you can do it better, then by all means why isn’t your app on the App Store?
At least FIU is trying to do what they can. Whether you think this app is warranted or useful at all, this is not the place to discuss it. Here we discuss if the app works. And what users like or don’t like about the app. Not the logistics of COVID tracking or FIU’s methodology in handling the current situation. Bring those opinions up to the administration or discuss it elsewhere.
