Not ready for prime time.

Great concept!! Had no issues loading or getting a product identified. I used a power tool I just recently bought a part for to see if it was just as easy. The parts diagram came up with no issues, but that is where this app flops. This particular tool has over 200 parts to order from the diagram with no way to go directly to the part number. In my case, needed part #60. The parts diagram was not dynamic so instead of just touching the number I wanted to go to it I had to scroll. That wouldn’t have been so bad… if the numbers were in sequence. They were not! First page had part numbers in the 200’s, 20’s etc. I did a number of pages and never got to 60, so this is a no go for me. Had it had an interactive diagram, this review would have been totally different. As it is, I’m giving it a 2 star rating for the concept in the hopes it will be more user friendly.

Once I understood the true value of this app and that this company is offering it for free, I was floored. As a California resident I appreciate the need to keep an accurate home inventory in case of fire (or other emergencies). This app allows that plus it provides manuals and help guides for the inventoried items. Since I’ve started using it earlier this year I’ve referenced it a few times and I even ordered a new bulb for my exhaust fan. The app made it easy!

Data collection

Requires a lot of personal information to log into app so I never got to actually access it. Im sure it’s good if you are willing to deal with that. One star because I don’t see the purpose of collecting that data.

Developer Response ,

Hello. Please reach out to for information about our data collection policies. You are not required to add your full address to use the app, we only need a zip code. We collect your email to create a stored account, and this is needed mainly due to the app being primarily used for ordering parts. We need a way to contact you.

It would be very helpful to understand what other personal information you are concerned with sharing so that we can proactively address those concerns. Thank you!
