Flac to Any Pro 4+

I have begun a collection of (entirely legal!) download-only music and needed software to accomplish this task. Over any number of downloads now, the software easily does what is asked. On occasion, I have to edit song titles (to remove underscore characters) or “disk numbers” on “multi disk” downloads. To be honest, though, I have no way of knowing whether this is a flaw in the metadata in my downloads or could be fixed with a more robust parsing system. In any case, this is a relatively minor inconvenience and doesn’t come up frequently. Color me satisfied.

I have used this app for 3 or 4 years, I think. I buy 24/96 FLAC files on-line then run them through this to produce a 24/96 ALAC file for my Mac Music collection. It is very straightforward to use and has been totally relaible. It is sort of the Swiss Army Knife of audio file converters so the flexbility is both impressive and useful. HIghly recommended.

I have been using this software for several weeks now, and it is generally quite effective.
I recently bought an album in flac format, and when attempting to convert to mp3, there were several errors, which were the same after multiple attempts. The interesting thing about this is, when I did toe same album in apple lossless, it worked flawlessly. So far this is the only album that has resulted in this type of error.
