Great Flac Player

Easy user interface and track management. The only con is the "select" isn't always available and have to go through song by song but, it is available in other locations in the app. Not a big deal and with the paid version you can link up all your icloud accounts.
This application is far superior to VOX. This is a great substitue for Apple Music if you want to listen to lossless playback.

Useless if you use an external drive

TLDR; You can’t browse folders and sub folders from external drives in the app to play music without it being in one BIG playlist.

Currently you have to drag and drop or go to “Open Folders” and either open the specifc folder (album for example) you want to play or select the folder that it exists in (artist folder or all of your music library for example). From there it opens up everything inside that folder and puts it in one BIG playlist, regardless if any of the songs came from subfolders.
Thats not the worst if its just one album but for people that keep their music library on an external drive its a total deal breaker.
Not to mention music often has unfilled/mixed meta data like multiple artists being apart of 1 song on an album which makes sorting innefective.
There NEEDS to be a way to browse folders the same way you would in Mac finder/Windows explorer. Because of this I always have to drag and drop individual folders (albums) into the player and go from there. Its super frustrating.

And a related issue when opening files from the "Files on this MAC" tab or from an external drive, you can’t automatically sort/rearrange songs by title/file name/artist/etc etc. You’re stuck with the order that FLAC Box throws at you unless you want to individually rearrange each song. Again.. not THAT big of a deal when it’s one album but when its hundreds or thousands of songs it means this app isn’t an option.

From Sky to dustbean.

This has turned into a complete disappointment and is now a mess. I am taking down my social media video where I praised it as the best music app.

Initially, I considered this app one of the best and even created a social media video to recommend it. However, it seems they've ruined it now, and I've decided to remove my video.

It used to be an excellent app, but now it's not worth using. Instead of asking for $14, the developers should consider giving refunds. The user interface is confusing, copied files don't display properly, and it's all quite chaotic. In my opinion, they should either improve it, return to its previous state, or consider other options altogether. I apologize for my strong language, but this app is incredibly disappointing.

Moreover, it's puzzling that the app is available for both Mac and iOS, yet it can't sync files on the same network. They seem unable to fix these simple issues. The sound quality has deteriorated significantly, and no matter how I adjust the EQ settings, it doesn't sound as it used to. The sound now has too much bass and is distorted, and the beats that I once enjoyed are no longer clear. Instead, I hear noise rather than music.

In summary, even if it's now available for free, it's not worth it. I recommend considering alternatives like Foobar or VLC, which, despite their less-than-perfect user interfaces, are not as bad as this app has become.
