Bad Update

The latest update changed how the ball is controlled. The old movement was significantly better in my opinion. It is a shame that one of my favorite games to pass time to has ended up in the back of my games folder. The old version undoubtedly deserves 5 stars, but at the current state of the game I can’t give it more than 3.

please release the old version as a separate app

I really loved the game that was replaced by this current game. It looks almost identical, but it had realistic physics and a good feel to it. This game is so completely different, it’s almost like some serial killer murdered a good friend of mine, and snuck into my house wearing my dead friend’s face skin as a mask so that he could punish me for being a loyal friend for years. The end of an era.

I think maybe the original Into the Dead app was so popular, that it triggered unsustainable explosive growth, during which they lost the talent that had once made Pik Pok games so very addictive, in exchange for the flashy but ultimately hollow AAA production that made Into the Dead 2 a much less successful game, especially when compared total investment for each game I would imagine.
-
So, now the negligible profits derived from all the other, ancillary games that has once received moderate time and investment during those early halcyon days can no longer justify the time and effort it takes to ensure that the complicated physics simulation engines remain up to date and compatible with Apple’s incessant and never ending system updates.
-
Inevitable, yet still saddening for people like me who tend to stick with a shortlist of “initially” well made games despite all the new schlock being released nowadays.

Totally ruined after 10+ years of playing.

I’ve had this game since 2009 or so. It’s the ONLY game that I’ve carried over from device to device to device bc it’s always been so simple and so accurate with the way you control the ball with your finger flicks. It was incredibly accurate and hours of fun that I never got tired of.

Well...No more. The update completely ruined all skill in how you control the ball. I’ve tried and tried to get used to the new controls but the game is unplayable.

The developer response just tells people to contact customer support, but they need to fix their broken game. Truly a tragedy.
