++ Flippy is part of Apple's favorite apps in July 2019 ++
Did you know, that you forget 40% of the stuff you learned after one hour? Or, did you know, that you only remember 30% of your lecture after one day? With Flippy these times are over. Flippy is a flashcard app that uses smart algorithms and modern technology like ARKit to improve learning. This way you can master every exam or just learn for life better.
• Generated sessions just for you. Tap and start - no need to choose your cards.
• Intuitive interface during each session. Swipe left to mark as unknown, swipe right to mark as known - and tap to see the answer.
• Create stacks of flashcards on your devices by taping, drawing, sketching or importing graphics.
• Smart reminders, when it’s time, to repeat your cards again.
• Algorithm based on the Leitner study system.
• Detailed statistics of your progress.
• Gamification: Earn points for each known card and compare them with your friends.
• iCloud Sync between all devices (requires Premium).
This is just the beginning. Like for Planny, the Smart To Do List, there’s a lot in the pipeline for future updates. If you’d like to see a certain feature, let me know using the integrated feedback section.
The app can be tried for free. To unlock all features, you can get a subscription. A Premium membership unlocks all features, enables access to future updates and supports the development of the app. Note that iCloud features require an iCloud account and iCloud Drive.
Now Planny uses SwiftUI in some parts of the app. SwiftUI is an innovative, exceptionally simple way to build user interfaces across all Apple platforms with the power of Swift. Over time more and more of the app will be created with SwiftUI to avoid crashes and improve performance.
• Advanced Cursor Support
When using a Trackpad on iPadOS or on the Mac, specific Elements become larger when you come closer to make clicking easier
• Alternative App icons
Choose the icon color you’d like in settings (iOS for iPhone only)
• New Onboarding Experience
A new tutorial shows the key features
• New Purchase View
The purchase view is now much simpler. Feel free to subscribe :)
• Archive stacks
• Unarchive stacks
• iCloud Sync fixed for users that faced some issues
• Additional bugfixes
Do you have any wishes for Flippy 3? Feel free to submit ideas on the website!

don’t waste your time and data on downloading it
The app has potential but limiting its features from the beginning doesn’t even give you a chance to even consider buying it. All the features are locked . Every thing you press will ask you for a subscription. Common really. You know there are so many apps there that this app will end up at the bottom of the list. Open some features and expose your app to more customers will benefit you more than just locking everything from the begging. And by the way subscription for a flash card app is not a way todo it. Let them pay up front for the app and your app up will be up in the top. Anyhow this is my thoughts and i wanted to share them.
I'd pay $10 for an app like that.
But I won't RENT one for $10 a year. Do you seriously expect people to pay $10/y for every single app on their phones until they die?
If I spend money on something. I want to own it. I don't want to get into a one sided contract that locks me in forever. If new cool stuff is added to the app, then I get to decide if it's worth my money and pay for the update.
Oh and that bouncy effect is almost as annoying as this new wave of entitled devs who think we should finance their retirements in exchange for a couple of little apps.
Developer Response ,
You can buy without a subscription. Where is the Problem? :) You buy a product, but want free maintenance, new features and support, as well as use offered services. The only way for it to work is a subscription to an app. Because it's the only way to make a great product Software changes. The development isn't done automatically by robots. Real humans have to spend hours to adapt the software to the newest operating systems and demands of its' users.
