Description

FloodWatch allows users to monitor rivers and streams throughout the United States. Add USGS gages to your favorites for quick monitoring of current gauge height, precipitation, and flood stage.

By leveraging data from the US Geological Survey and National Weather Service, FloodWatch presents the most recent and historical river heights, precipitation totals, discharge, and flood stage data. Graphs are available to help you visualize the rise and fall of the river, precipitation, and streamflow. Note that only US Geological Survey gauges with real-time data capabilities are surfaced within the application; not all United States gauges are available.

FloodWatch is also geared towards those with interests in or near flood plains. If your home or other interests have been flooded in the past or could be flooded in the future, FloodWatch allows you to easily keep an eye on any potential flooding issues.

Great app. Responsive developer.

Works just like it says on the tin. Sent in a feedback request and received a thoughtful and personal response rather than a generic “thanks for your suggestion” reply.

Love the Home Screen widgets

Can you add Lock Screen widgets that are compatible with IOS 16?

Developer Response ,

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your note! Yes, lock screen widgets have been on my mind leading up to the release of iOS 16.

I'd love to hear more about what you have in mind for lock screen widgets. Can you be specific about what would be useful for you to see on the lock screen?

Please drop a line to feedback-floodwatch@d5gtech.com. Looking forward to your input!

Excellent !!!!'nnnnnnn

One of my favorite apps. Fast accurate info. I'd like to see the favorite screen expanded as I'm monitoring all rivers in six states. They fit but kick me out of the app after viewing which is annoying. Also I'd like push capability and the ability to email the charts created. This app is actually better and more user friendly than the USGS web site. Just keep making it better.

Also, is like the capability to automatically surf over to the USGS web page without leaving the app like the app on earthquakes takes you to the website and gives the ability to email the page to others. I literally use this app every day - is tremendous with great potential.
