Flow is all your team’s communication, clear and organized.

Every day, teams at Tesla, TED, and Etsy (among thousands of others) use Flow to chat, discuss tasks, and plan projects — all the important things that help everyone get more done.

This is Flow Chat, where you can have discussions with your team using chat rooms and direct messages. Download the Flow Tasks app to manage your day-to-day tasks.

Using Flow Chat + Flow Tasks together, you can:

• Get your team talking: Flow makes reaching out to a teammate or having a quick discussion effortless and fun. Just wait and see how much everyone loves you for not sending an email.
• Know what’s happening without even asking: All your team’s tasks, files, deadlines, and discussions live in Flow, so you’ll always know what everyone is working on.
• Work from anywhere, on all your devices: It doesn’t matter if you’re eating breakfast at home, working late at the office, or clinging to wi-fi in some far off land. Your team comes with you everywhere.

What’s New

Version 1.5.1

Hey there! Flow Chat 1.5.1 has arrived. This is a polish and bug fix release.

Here’s what’s changed:

- To make organizing Flow a bit more logical, we've changed the names of teams and workspaces to reflect their intended uses. At the top level is an Organization (formerly Team) and an organization has multiple Teams (formerly Workspaces).
- Fixed a bug where image uploads would not respect the edits you made (ie cropping). We now upload images exactly as you intend
- iOS 10 support. Not much user facing here but we just thought we should let you know.
- Updated a few deficiencies that were made obviously with Xcode 8 and iOS 10. Again, you probably won't notice these things and will likely never think about this again.

As always, if you have a painful bug with Flow that's gnawing away at you, kindly email our friendly support staff at We'll get you sorted out.

Thanks for using Flow,
<3 The Flow Team

Good on the go

Great way to keep up with office chatter on the go. (Primarily use Mac app in office). Only design flaw is swiping right from edge to "like" posts. I want to swipe right as a "back button" to easily switch conversations (like most iOS app interfaces). I'm always accidentally liking posts and unliking before retracing my steps to get home. Also hamburger menu on home doesn't do anything?

Overall solid though.

Rough first edition

We just deployed Flow in our office to consolidate project management and chat together, and it works great, but this app falls pretty short. Notifications either don't work at all or aren't accurate. The server seems to not load messages or not be able to connect. Finally, there is no ability to set your here/away status or create or join chat rooms.

Flow is a good product overall, but the iOS app is seriously lacking, and it makes me miss Slack already, which is a fantastic team chat app. I hope they are focusing serious resources on getting this app up to par quickly.

Build-In PDF viewer and other issues.

The app is generally fine, but it would be great if I can open a PDF file in the app when someone post a PDF there. At least let us open in another app easily.

1. Whenever it sends notifications to me, it always say "someone" said something. I don't know who.

2. I got a sign saying that I have two unread messages on my app icon, but I actually don't have any of them. It's annoying.
