Four hours of work disappeared!
Yes, I know this is a free version but after building a complex flow chart (and yes, I was saving constantly) I did an undo action and several of the connecting lines were misaligned. Instead of realigning each of them I do what I do with EVERY OTHER APP: I chose “File > Revert to” the saved document.
Much to my horror it restored a version from the very beginning!! Believe me when I say that I’m a power user, have been on Macs since literally the very beginning, and know how to use macOS, apps and the machine to its limit. There is NO excuse for an app to exhibit this behavior and, of course, there isn’t a snowballs-chance-in-hell I’ll upgrade to the full version now.
This is awesome!
I have been searching for an app to make flow charts. It seems like it should be an easy thing to do but this is the first one I have used that has actually worked. Its so simple and the learning curve is really short. Great app. I am looking into the paid version. The developer has given so much in the free version I am having a hard time finding a reason to upgrade. I intend to upgrade anyway just to support the developer.
Great if you don’t mind losing your work
Created a large network connect diagram and saved the document. Exported the document as a PDF. The next day, opened the file to make an edit and was presented with a blank screen. Zoomed out/in, tried several things and got nothing but a blank page. File size is still much larger than a new blank document so I assume the data is still there…it just won’t display. At least I still have the PDF.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
