This update improves the main animation, removes iCloud synchronization for now, and migrates local items to a new storage format. • The navigation animation has been (re)built for the 3rd time. Now, it's finally as smooth as it always was supposed to be, even with lots of items. • iCloud sync has been removed for now. Its implementation was simply not robust enough. It has been rebuilt and will be re-released when it's fully reliable. • The storage architecture has been rebuilt as well. Locally on your mac, each item is now stored in its own JSON file, and those files are being updated in real time. This update fixes a bug where items couldn't be colour-tagged via keyboard after editing their text.

This update improves various aspects and introduces iCloud synchronisation. • You can sync different Macs via iCloud. This is the first of two big leaps towards the much demanded iOS app! Flowlist does a reasonable effort to resolve conflicting versions between iCloud and local items, so in typical use cases it just works. When Flowlist can't resolve a conflict, it will ask which version you want to use. • You can find and backup your Flowlist data file via menu option "Data -> Show JSON File in Finder". We recommend backing up your data regularly, in particular when using iCloud sync while that is still a young feature. • Markdown export has improved. It now respects the maximum depth of markdown headings. It also detects items that are likely bullet points and formats them as such. • Fix: At least on macOS Sierra, the text export panel didn't show up due to a macOS bug. Flowlist now circumvents the issue. • Fix: Clicking the Flowlist icon in the doc now always shows the window, whether the window was closed or Flowlist was hidden. • Performance has improved a bit, in particular for large numbers of items. • As always, but this time to a greater extent: Many technical improvements under the hood to maintain development speed.

This update improves animations and adds Markdown export. • You can chose between plain text (.txt) and markdown (.md) in the export panel. Flowlist also remembers your last choice. • You can move to details via TAB key as an additional shortcut. • From your Home (root) list, you can leave fullsscreen via ESC key. • Fix: When adding an item to the top via Space key while scroll position is not at the top, scrolling plus animation is smoother and without delay. • Fix: When grouping items or adding an item, the animation is smooth again. This update brings a total new design. • Flowlist looks much different, cleaner and more modern. • It's easier to recognize which list is in focus, which items are selected, which are in progress, which are done, how lists are titled and how lists are tagged. • Dark mode looks better and is more in line with Mojave (macOS 10.14) and Apple's guide lines. • Flowlist adjusts when you switch between dark and light mode in the system settings of Mojave. This update simplifies the visual design and introduces Dark Mode. • Now you can switch between Dark Mode and Daylight Mode via menu option or Cmd+D. • The user interface went back to its roots a bit and looks cleaner. This update fixes a bug that occurred when navigating via mouse. Apparently, some users did navigate exclusively via mouse. However, Flowlist is much more rapid, intuitive and fun when controlled via keyboard like a game! Flowlist is supposed to be controlled via keyboard, and only that way does it unfold its charme ;)
