Know Where, When and What to Fly Fish FlyGuys is the fly fishing app for Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, and New Mexico -- not a national app stretched thin across 50 states. We go deep on the rivers you actually fish. RIVER VERDICTS -- Know If It's Worth the Drive Every river is rated Excellent to Unfishable against its own wading and floating flows, trends, water temperature, clarity, and weather. Should you fish the South Platte today? Now you know before you leave the house. MAPS FOR PLANNING YOUR TRIP Explore public-land ownership on topo, satellite, hybrid and fullscreen maps. Premium adds available property boundaries near supported river sections, premier and Gold Medal waters, mapped boat ramps and access points, and campground listings. Tap mapped parcels and points for details. Coverage varies by location. Maps help you plan; confirm entry, parking, permitted use and current restrictions with the land manager. Download supported offline maps before leaving service. FISHING FORECAST -- Plan the Week, Not Just Today Every day in the forecast gets its own fishing rating -- Excellent, Good, Fair, or Poor -- built from flow, water temperature, clarity, and weather, plus the hatches to expect. Not just weather. Fishing days. HATCH ALERTS -- Be There When It Starts Get a push the moment your river's hatch is on, so you're there tying on the right fly at the right time. SMART ALERTS -- Never Miss Prime Conditions Alerts for flow ranges, optimal conditions, water temp, clarity, hatch timing, trends, closures, gauge status, and flows that match your best past trip. HATCH CHARTS -- What's Hatching Right Now River-specific hatch timing, not generic regional data. 12-month emergence calendars for every river, plus aquatic insect profiles with ID photos and life stages. Free. FLY RECOMMENDATIONS -- Match the Hatch Instantly FlyGuys connects current conditions to the exact patterns that are working -- dries, nymphs, emergers, and streamers, each with photos, sizes, and seasons. RIG RECOMMENDATIONS -- Your Guide in Your Pocket A complete rig built for today's conditions: point fly and dropper, leader length, tippet size, indicator depth, and notes on why it works today. FISHING LOG AND FLY BOX -- Track What Works Log every trip with fish counts, ratings, photos, and notes; conditions auto-fill from your river. Build fly boxes by river, season, or trip and share them with friends. REFERENCE LIBRARY -- Everything Offline Fly patterns with tying recipes, aquatic insects, fish species, and essential knots -- all bundled in the app. Works without cell service. RIVERS WE COVER IN DEPTH Deep coverage across Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, and New Mexico -- from the South Platte, Arkansas, and Frying Pan to the North Platte, Green, Madison, Missouri, Provo, and San Juan.
