- Location is now required for payments. This is a valuable tool for the bank in combatting fraud and can provide us with contextual information to assist with fraud detection. We do not share any of this location data with 3rd parties and we request your permission prior to use of your geo location.
- Access security features such as report fraud, latest scams and fraud videos from Security Centre on your home page.

Location for payments no thank you!

Location required for payments? Are you kidding?! What if the location services are not available. What if I don’t want to share it with FNB? Then the app is essentially useless. I value my privacy and FNB should rather invest their time and money on implementing secure two factor authentication rather than spying on their customers. I can already see my location data land up in the next data leak. That’s how you lose customers FNB

Hi there, customers are faced with a number of threats and we have introduced an additional security layer when performing certain transactions. Whilst this may appear intrusive it is a valuable tool in combatting fraud and providing contextual information for fraud detection. We do not share any of this location data with 3rd parties. Online authorisations don’t work properly

The app is generally good but the new system of App authorisations for online purchases doesn’t work properly. At times, have to repeat purchases a few times for authorisation to work - app freezes. Sometimes notification for authorisation takes too long! SMS OTPs worked better but this new method is probably cheaper for FNB.

When are we greeting to use Apple Pay

Am really surprised you were not one of the first to get  Pay to work. How come others got it first and till today no word on when  Pay will come?
